DB compost re-sterilization

I have a 15lb bag of DB compost that is about 4 months old and has been kept in its bag in the fruiting container. I feel like it should be re-sterilized because the container was opened many times. Is it feasable to sterilize the compost in pint jars with metal lids in a pressure cooker? Or do i need filter discs for the lids, or do i need filter patch bags? If bags is there a way to use them without buying an expensive sealer? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would recommend steralizing it again, just to be sure. If all you want to do is steralize it then you only need to put it in jars in the pressure cooker.
