Reservoir method

Hey guys. I've been inactive for months, but I'm starting to get the ball rolling.
What I have on my hands is a mother in pain, a good HPS light, clay pellets, and nutrients.
What I was going to do was take a large pot, and fill it with water and nutrients.
I was going to put a smaller pot, with holes in the bottom, inside of that put with vermiculite, and eventually, seedlings.
What I haven't been able to find is exactly how much nutrient to put in the water. I don't want to burn them to death, but I don't want them to have any deficiencies, either.
I don't want a course for disaster, but I really want to help my mom.
Any suggestions would be freakin' sweet. Thanks :smile:
