Really I can't help being an asshole to people. I can make friends but I notice I have trouble keeping them cause I point out people's stupidity without even noticing I do it.
Its not cause I'm self-conscious or anything, can any of you hippies help me?

At least you can admit it. Most can't. I guess the next step is to take that little bit of self consciousness and begin to build on it until you're fully aware of what you're saying and why you're saying it. Then you can decide before you say something hurtful whether or not that little remark is worth losing a friend over.

Or maybe being that kind of person is just who you are and nothing will change it. In my experiences, most people don't change much after they've established a firm personality, and maybe it's for the best that they don't lose sleep over trying.

Its not unusual to do that.

A whole handful of my cousins do the same thing, our families just accept them and laugh off what they say. We don't try to fix them because there is nothing wrong with them.

Ofcourse, every now and then some elitist douchebag with some sort of degree in psychology feels the need to set up halfassed experiments to show them whats wrong with them.
