I'm doing pretty well. I'm nineteen and I've saved for the past few years. $12,000+ in the bank and a $45,000 inheritance coming when I hit twenty-one.

It's going to go towards school mostly.

I'm 18, I have about $3,000 in the bank but I have a settlement arriving when I'm 21, should be around $30,000.

Yeah man, living at home is awesome. I only pay $200/month and that includes food, hydro, a decent sized bedroom, cable TV, high speed internet, washer & drier, etc. I'll have close to $70,000 by the time I'm twenty-one.

I don't understand people who rush to move out of their parent's house when they finish high school (unless it's a really rough living situation). Most of the time it seems they just want 'complete freedom' and a party house with their friends. That's the beginning of a financially stupid life.

car's probably worth $4500 to a dealer, more independently

running low on funds, maybe a grand total (savings, checking, and cash) right now, but i also am currently unemployed...kind of scary considering since the time i was 17, i always had about $10,000 in the bank

Not too bad.

I'm 28 years old. I have about 40k in my stock portfolio, and another 7k in my checking account.

Within a year, I'll be interviewing for jobs starting between 85-90k and only go up from there. Financially, I'm very comfortable.

I'm 26.  My car is worth about 5,000 and I have about a grand in the bank.

That's it.  I guess that kind of sucks compared to some of you guys, but given my situation right now, I have everything that I need.  :shrug:

I live paycheck to paycheck and make cash tips to blow on gas, weed and other day to day stuff.

I'm going to be living in a different situation soon, which will allow me to save a lot more.

I'm 27 and I probably have a thousand bucks in the bank, maybe 7k in mutual funds, a $10,000 car and I owe a total of maybe 6 grand in student loans. I make about 40k a year and steadily rising.

I am cool with all that.

around 30k, i'm almost 22. 17k in CDs, 4.6k in savings 800 in checking and a car worth around 8k

i have bills though lots of them, being in college sucks cause i cant work fulltime... so my savings dies during the school year until i can replinish it during the summer :laugh:

23 About $800 on hand a car worth about $1000 and $24,000 dollars worth of student loan debt. I'll have my degree in June so hopefully it pays off.
