Bad Credit and Student Loans

I am looking into going to a tech school very soon and was wondering if bad credit affect student loans and grants. And if so, are there any options beside paying for the school yourself?

Tech schools are a waste of your money. If you decide to go to a real university that will get you somewhere in life, you can apply for financial aid.

Take every penny. By the time you pay the federal loans off, it'll be pennies on the dollar.

If you still can't afford that, Obama will take care of you.
