Humboldt County Hunt

These are from the northern California coast in Humboldt county.

Some great views at this little state park. 


I found what I think are grisettes, Amanita vaginata, in a stand of firs.







I also saw quite a few of these little purple ones.




A bizzare lichen, I guess. 


And finally, this cool snail.

Yeah, I was just up there yesterday.  I always seem to luck out with good weather there.  :sunny:

Trinidad was pretty cool.  I've been going up a lot for work and I'm checking out as many parks as I can.  I've been to lost man's creek, big lagoon, that park where the elks are and quite a few beaches.  Any recommendations?
