How many think the rating system should be anonymous?

The reasons I say this is a lot of times I see people giving people bad ratings just because they gave them a bad rating. I admit I'm guilty too, though we later forgave each other. This would make rating more based on the quality of the post rather than for vengeance.

Also forgive me if this is an impossibility as I know little about the inner workings of a forum.
Should the ratings system be changed?

STAL. But I'll say no. Everybody has the right to rate. I don't think that anonymous ratings are going to prevent groundless negative ratings.

I think the rating system is stupid. It’s nothing but a headache hafting to hear from people bitching about it.

A lot of forums don’t even have ratings.

IMO the only ratings should be trade ratings, then you all wont have something to bitch and moan about.

absolutely, if anything i think we should REMOVE general ratings, in their place should be something like a guestbook. thats all it really is anyway, a place for people to put whatever, most people dont take the general ratings seriously.
