I didn't read this long ass thread but if shes against you growing why not just chuck the plants and have her buy you a shit ton of bud and booze with her 90k salary? If she's really narrow minded and doesn't want you smoking at all though it would be a big problem.

Best wishes shr00mer. I'm in a similar situation as yourself, and while lately my partner has been willing to begrudgingly tolerate my interest and use of various psychoactives, I don't doubt that there may come a day when I'm faced with a similar ultimatum as yourself. You can only do what is right for you, and while compromise is necessary in any healthy relationship, don't do something that is going to cause you to harbor resentment or ill will - that will only cause more pain for all parties in the long run.

Well what job do you have? Do you pull your own weight with all of the financial issues? It is very wrong that she gave you an ultimatum, and we all know there is something else to it, so you should at least try to have a good conversation with her about who you are as a person, and get down to the real issue.

Youre in a tough situation, and its a shame....

in my expierence, people are usually more important than drugs.

however, my ex (who im very glad im no longer with) once poised that same ultimatum to me, and i told her that i would smoke pot till I decided it was time to quit.

i suppose that in the end, your girl asked you to choose her or drugs, and you choose drugs. Now the ball is in her court.

i would say just try to give em up, let a friend hold onto them or something in case it doesnt work out. or maybe try to make a super convincing argument as to why you should entitled to both?
