please ID this look-a-like shroom! no pics

Hi, recently in my hunting through cowfields in south Lousyana, I have seen a vast number of shrooms which look remarkably like the variety of P. cubensis that grows just as plentifully right alongside this look-a-like. Here is a description:

the look-a-like grows to be about the same size as the average P. cubensis, it has a golden to yellow center spot, edges coloring off- to bright-white as the cap matures. The pinheads are white. The gills of the species are bright white, and it stains pink-red. The outside edges of the cap are often frayed and shredded in maturity. These things grow EVERYWHERE in dungfields, and I'm just a little curious abotu them. Any guesses?
