they appear to be likey as well as possibley and also as well as considerabley close to Psathyrella gracilis

i mean Paneolus campanulatus without clean margins. They look just like the ones with the appendiculate margin on the photos above. the last ones. Psyathrella gracilis has a clear to the eye stirations before it is too dry

What a fascinating thread! I am a newbie here and still working my way thru reading all the posts in the archives, but what relation does the spore print have towards determination of a magic mushroom? On the great ones page ( thank you great one :0) he mentions that most magic mushrooms stems turn blue upon bruising.... Is that not a very good way to know???

Hey Grenade! Thanks, I am still in the midst of reading the greatones shroom hunting guide :) And am gathering a lot of info there... Just got back from the bank, sending for my first spores today, looking at about 5 strains,,, So excited! So, what part of so cal are you from????
