That second article describes how it was a possible hoax and that the dog was fed and watered. Still it's fucked up and should not be exhibited.

Exactly what I was about to say, did nobody actually read the story, he gave the fucking thing food and water.

The link has been updated (thus the big UPDATE!!!! at the top), there was nothing on there originally about it being a hoax when I posted it.
So yes, people probably did read the story. I did. And everyone can stop acting like the people who cared were morons.

This kind of attitude is what is so fucked up with alot of society. The dog is a mammal, just like you and I. I love alot of dogs more than I do most humans, because they don't lie to you, nor do they even have the capacity to. That is just an ignorant statement. You really do need to open your eyes.

It's b0red5tiff, he's going to say stuff like that. Don't mind him

And the dog didn't die anyway, the article said it was a mistake on the part of the Costa Rican news, they reported it wrong. It was part of the illusion or whatever, people had to actually think the dog died but he was actually fine.

The dog was fine? I don't think so... even if he didn't die, that is serious cruelty right there.

yeah, i'm fucked in the head, senseless, numb in the nerves.

or

Of course. The rabbit's not like us. It has no... keen look at something in the mirror, it has no history books, no photographs, no knowledge of sorrow or regret... I mean, I'm sorry, Miss Pommeroy, don't get me wrong; y'know, I like rabbits and all. They're cute and they're horny. And if you're cute and you're horny, then you're probably happy, in that you don't know who you are and why you're even alive. And you just wanna' have sex, as many times as possible, before you die... I mean, I just don't see the point in crying over a dead rabbit! Y'know, who... who never even feared death to begin with.

Right back to the outrage over the thrown puppy.
I don't want to sound callous towards dogs are anything, but come on, where is the outrage when a 14 year old Japanese girl gets raped by a U.S. marine? The million dead Iraqi civilians?

Also, why are you all after him? It was apparently obvious that the dog was 'starving' and yet none of the art patrons cared enough to help. Why aren't you after the ones that the art exhibit exposed (which it was apparently intended to) didn't help the dog?

Have you not seen any news? Outrage over Iraqi civilian deaths is everywhere. I encounter way more outrage over rapists and civilian causalities each day then animal rights.

Regardless of what else is going on the world, one still can, and should, feel outrage over this.

I haven't seen any outrage over those things except in blogs. Sure a talking head may devote a segment to them on the news, but the populace of the internet doesn't devote threads to them (in my experience, I'm new here, but every other forum I've been on had 20 page long threads about the chucked puppy. When I brought up my points they usually just said fuck iraqis/humans).

That said, in real life I agree that there is a minimal outrage over animal rights (Or peta's hypocrisy)
