I like free markets and all. Truly I do, at least in general, but there needs to be some kind of oversight in recognition of sustainability. Life works the same way, on a bunch of sustainable systems. Why not honor what made us what we are and take some lessons? Nature FTW!

the way i look at it is you are use to popping your back when youre younger so its almost a need to pop the motherfucker, but the older you get the weaker your bones get. now youre to the point to where youre 60 and you have that awful cramp or whatever in your back that only a nice pop would heal but you cant cause your bones are so brittle. get what im saying.

I get it. It might be fuckin really bad for you, I'm no doctor. I'm only 20, and my back almost never feels like it needs to be popped.

I'm sure they'll have some medication that'll keep you going for 20 years or so.

I wouldn't count on a cure, though.

I pop my back, fingers, and neck alllllll the time. It feels great. Usually when I do something using nothing other than my body and it feels great, I figure there must be some sort of evolutionary advantage to doing it, otherwise it wouldn't feel so awesome. Then again I have horrible, horrible posture.

the only thing that would help is a pain killer and we already have that. either way we get old along with our bones and we wont be able to pop them they way we do now. i cant go 24 hours without popping my back or i go crazy. im sorry but we are all fucked!

the other morning at 330 when my gf had to get up for work my back was killing from jack hammering tiles at work the day before
well I went to crack my back and it must have popped 30 times all at once and I swear it was prob better than any sex ive had in like 4 months
I slept sooo good

O and ya I crack my back like 52 times a day

well, just like popping any other joint(s), reduction of cartilage, which eventually = bone on bone, which, especially with your back = mucho pain. but i'm sure the detriment your posture is doing to your back (and most the rest of us) is far worse than popping your back will be

Can't go 24 hours? I've gone more than 24 years without intentionally popping any of my bones. I've never felt a desire to it, I don't particularly like the way it feels when it happens on accident, and so I've never been able to understand why some people are so crazy about it. I also think that when I was young I read some sort of literature or heard a news story about how over-cracking your knuckles or what have you isn't good for you. I don't have any sources to back this claim up, however it has been burned into my psyche which further reinforces my reluctance to crack any of my bones. I do stretches every day, but no cracking. I used to have a little bit of pain on my shoulders/back, but once I got a new pillow that kept my head and kneck better elevated at night, that pain went away.
