Its the music from lava reef zone. I thought it was a great melody but I wanted to see how it would work with some real instrumentation. Anyway, enjoy.

I was wondering why I didn't recognize it at first, then realized it was from sonic three. I only played the first one enough to remember, and the second one a little.

Do you interpret from midi files, or do you play it by ear? I play guitar and piano myself, but am not into the whole arrangement thing. I try to get it all interpreted into one voice, which makes things either difficult, or watered down, especially on guitar.

Anyways video game music is awesome! I think if more people took the time to translate it, they'd realize that it can be some pretty baddass progressive rock or fusion. Your rendition reminds me of Al Dimeola, in a cheesy kind of way. Haha, good stuff man, youve got some talent there.

I just worked out the melodies by ear and put in chords where I thought they should go. I'm a huge video game music fan. Theres some other sonic songs I want to interpret, and a bunch from megaman.

This one came out still sounding like video game music. I wasn't going for that.

I don't recognize this one. I just know the first two. But it's a good idea. I'm visiting Portland and supposedly there's a band that plays old Nintendo music. That would be cool too.
