British Mushroom Hunters

Last years picking didnt go to well for me. I looked in grassy cow and sheep fields. Only found 15 liberty caps after going hunting about 10 times, sometimes for hours.

So what sort of area is best. There is a sheep field behind my house, but last year that was dry, and the sheep havnt been there this year.

If you've found them in the past then you already know where to find them. Look in places with the same habitat. Every time you find some, note to yourself what the area is like. When you find another area, see what is the same. Whenever you want to find a mushroom, always start by looking in the proper habitat. Other than that, keep looking.
