I just made the best dinner

i threw some sausage in a pan and let that cook while i was sauteing some onions and green peppers in another pan. once the green peppers and onions were done i threw them in with the sausage and let all 3 cook for a few. while those were mixing i threw some shrimp in the pan that had the onion and green peppers and let those warm up a bit. once the shrimp hit the perfect temp i threw them shrimp in the big pan and let all the flavors mix. 2 minutes later i had the best dinner. i feel bad though cause my chick is in the bathroom throwing up and she couldn't enjoy this masterpiece. sucks to be pregnant!

Sounds pretty good! I'd throw some sort of sauce in the veggie/meat mixture, reduce, and serve it over a bed of rice (jasmine or wild). :drooling:

I had slow-braised baby back ribs with a homemade teriyaki glaze, roasted garlic mashed potatoes with sour cream, and a big helping of broccoli salad!

i wanted to throw it over some speggettie but i really didnt want to wait that long.

My roast has been cooking for 4 hours and is almost ready.

A 2 lb. chuck roast, seared on each side for 15 minutes. I made several small holes and inserted chopped cloves of garlic and some small shallots into the roast. Into the pot it went, along with:
Sweet red onions
Carrots
More shallots
2 Tomatoes
Six small finger-potatoes
Some sliced red and yellow peppers
A handful of white mushrooms

And 5 bottles of Michelob Amber Bock to cook it in. The meat has fallen apart into chunks. Another 30 minutes, and it will be perfect. Moooooooooooooooo.

I had alcohol for dinner. Well i guess as an appetizer. i have some lasagna in the fridge that should be mighty tasty. Couple that with the Price is Right that is on and you have a great evening. lol, jk of course. Your dinners all sound better than mine. God i forgot why i disliked alcohol so much.
