reasons people get busted for mushie growing

What are some reasons people get busted for growing? I know if you tell people thats one way. If it were marijuiana there would be alot of power usage, but growinmushies dosent require that much power possibly. Fill me in so i can be safe.

friends ratting you out, and having the cops called to your place for any reason (noise violation etc). no doubt being an active member on this board doesn't help. also, leaving grow materials out has been known to trigger a search (so don't leave that 10lb bag of verm on your porch) and selling i think should go without saying, but i said it.

simply put, the less you have laying out, and the fewer people who know the better off you are.

Don't trust your family, friends, pets, or anyone. Never.

Don't tell anyone! If you cannot trust yourself to keep a secret, you can't trust anyone. Everybody has people they trust, who wont tell. Soon the world will know.

Do not leave anything in plain sight. Lock all doors to prevent accidental discovery.

Do not sell them. If you do, do not sell them while you are growing. Do not tell anyone you know the grower, even if it is to take heat off of you. Try to work on your own terms, as cops like to work on their own.

Try to keep things safe & secure. Even if you do not have visitors to your home, expect apartment checks, fire fighters, and stuff of that nature.

Don't forget mechanical failure of grow equipment leading to fire or other issues which could draw attention. I had a friend whos apartment was flooded while he was at a festival for the weekend, they came in and found his operation that way. Gotta be on top of every angle. Stay safe.

i have a question for all of you. how do you go about sharing your crop with your friends without them knowuing your growing? i know you just dont tell them but wont they get suspicious if your the only one in town that can get them
