You said you were a photographer?
Is this an actual photo?

Yes, and yes. I had just discovered this forum yesterday. That's a B&W print of a stream flowing under an old rail bed. In this forum you'll see only my personal work. My scanner is broke, so I took a digital photo of the 8 X 10.
Thanks Heavenly, I'll keep them coming.

That's fucking wicked. I thought it was a photoshopped thing of the edge of the flat earth, with the moon in the backdrop.

Thanks to all for your favorable input. Yes, my thing is straight photography. I believe a good negative needs no special effects. In the darkroom, I'm comfortable. With digital software I become confused. I'll post more pics soon, now that I have a fan club.

Please post more of your pics. That one is amazing! Do you do mostly B&W?

It's about 50/50, b&w versus color. Thanks, I'll post more soon. I've been real busy lately.

Wow! Really nice pic! I also thought it was a digital composite with the moon until I read your description.
I love to see someone who thinks like I do ("I believe a good negative needs no special effects"). So many people today are getting away from film, but I find such great satisfaction in loading a roll and shooting film. And the anticipation of waiting to see what you captured....I love it.
I'm sure it will become a thing of the past that is only still done by artists and enthusiasts. Kinda like shooting old 8mm film home movie cameras. But for now I will continue to shoot film (until it become impractical/exspensive to do so).
Post more pics, puscle. I'd love to see some of your work!
