I stole my moms camera for the weekend cause i was goin campin with my friends and we where doin shrooms so we needed pictures. I took these the morning after, and they turned out good for such a shitty camera I think. Im new at this, and if there is any photo hobbyists out there who would be willin to give me feedback it would be great. Any feedback is cool, really. you can say they burn your retnas when you look at em, whatever you think.

I edited them with microsoft photo manager, basically just turned them black and white and played with the contrast. they look better when their full size.

I think these look amazing! I have no patience for photoshop so I also use the photo manager too. I especially like the picture with the tree and the water. keep it up! :-)

I like your taste for harsh black and white It can be really powerful, and although you're obviously not a seasoned photographer with thousands of flying hours in the Photoshop cockpit, I think you may have an eye for photography. So definitely take this further!
First thing to work on (and that's one you'll always be working on from now on) is composition. Choose a subject, analyze the matter, decide what aspects you want to include in an image, and then set up the shot. Or if you come across something that appeals to you, decide what it is exactly that you like, which usually is just a small element in the scene. Then exclude anything that doesn't add to the central concept.
In your series, I like the last pic best. I like the texture of the mossy branches, I think it has the most balanced composition in this series, I like the contrast between the black water and the lighter textures above it, and the reflections in the water are a nice subtle touch. Of course, image quality is mediocre at best, the black and white conversion is crude, and the composition likely not the optimal solution given the scene (it needs a bit more space to breathe, especially on the bottom), but these are all things that you'll be able to fix in future shots.

Keep shooting.
Some tips I'd suggest is to get out there early before dawn or dusk. I rarely bother shooting midday because the light is usually boring. I also love to to shoot when the sun shines through fog. You really don't need photoshop if the light is good.
One thing that's important for any beginner is to realize the difference between what your camera sees and what you see with your eyes. For example, look at the first image. I bet in real life you could see under the bridge, but in the photo it just looks like a shadow. I realize you enhanced the contrast but human eyes are always able to see more than a camera. If you keep shooting you'll be able to anticipate what the camera sees, which helps make better images.

exactly. and if you stop using photoshop, you'll learn about light faster. also, try not to use the auto option. adjust settings yourself. i'm not sure how they are called in english. focus, aperture and instantaneous? you should adjust these yourself if you want to improve yourself .) nice shots btw
