I just recently bought a digital camera, a sony cybershot 3.2 megapixel dsc-p32. Its not top of the line, but its still a damn good camera. Anyhow, I've never been much of a photographer, but I've been having fun taking shots and messing around with them. Here's a few I took last night ( I photoshopped the last picture a bit for fun.):

those are really cool.

I've always loved the style that doesn't really show a scenery, just a dominant color in a natural setting that looks weird without context.

Post more!

I felt the need to edit that "TechHoles" picture in photoshop:

You got some nice captures but are they all suppose to be blurry or is that just a camera technicallity you need to figure out?

No, they're supposed to be that way. heh I'm going for obscurity and extreme close ups. Really, I'm just having fun messing around with it right now. Some of these images are nothing on their own, but you can use them in other ways. Here's something I created from a photograph of my salt shaker. I liked the colors in the photo and they carried through in spite of my editing.

That's one insanely-psychedelic salt-shaker you have there

That salt shaker was awsome!
Did you use photoshop to alter the photography?
What kind of effects, techniques did you use, to create the salt shaker pic?

Yeah, I used photoshop on that. I cropped it down so all you could see was the clear part of the shaker, used a wave filter, and another, then copied sections of the image, made new layers from them, a polar coordinates filter, adjusted the opacity, contrast, rotated layers, etc.
