the worst part about it, jake makes 2 grand a week when his job before was 7.15 at mcdonalds(he didnt start there at 2 grand a week, i do belive he's actually working in a diffrent department). My sister makes only alittle more than him and she has her Phd so its really about the field. The people trained to do what we do is few and far between but its not hard, Alot of calculating the accuracies of the instruments we are using and sometimes even building our own instruments.

in the automotive field you got to many people who get caught up in the "Service" end of the field and the "manufacturing" field where the jobs are being lost, the research and development field is where its at!

i had a ton of Ws. they don't mean anything. when i was going on job interviews, none of my potential employers even asked to see my grades. they just care about the degree.

yeah its all about transferring and when they see those W's you should have a good reason if your other grades aren't up to par...

And I can't believe you only have to take college algebra. My friend went all the way to calculas and hes at the bottom of the totem poll for being a mechanic.
