Right.  Muddling the difference between math and science does a disservice to each.  When the Egyptians found that Pythagorean theorem was a good approximation to their right angles they were doing science since they were describing nature with it.  When Euclid believed the theorem because of a proof he was doing mathematics since it relied only on the axioms.

anyways... apparently my prof isn't looking for a specific example and that my idea of relating it to the proof of Q+ being countable is pretty much it. I just have to figure out how to word it correctly...
