when i turn my dried poo into a shredded dried grass like form I find it works best.

I don't think so. I sift mine through a screen and the final product is pretty fine. I shred my straw up pretty fine too, though people have recommended otherwise.

I've been using a blender and it's almost saw dust ish?

I don't like the density of horse poo that is shredded to finely.

I like mine to be airy and fluffy, so it colonizes better.

Can you explain a little more about making it airy and fluffy? Is that leaving small pieces not broken up?

then break it up by hand when loading up my containers.

I'm doing some poo now actualy and it looks close to that until i add moisture.

You can if you want to use a wood chipper, just drop it in and it'll break it all up. Best for throwing in LARGE amounts of horse nuggets. I like my manure to be airy and fluffy so it's easier to colonize as well as colonizing faster that way.

Hopefully things will go well, I'm using copious amounts of berries soooo.
A small chipper shredder sounds like a wise investment for me. I was blending outside wondering how much one of those things costs....
I should be okay for now though yeah?
