Well I guess its kind of easy for me because I work for an electrical company so I get to keep all the scrap wire that would otherwise just be thrown away. You might get into trouble but if you are smart about it and know where any construction sites are just go into them when no one is there and just take all the scraps that are laying around. You get like 1.30 a pound and some of the thicker stuff is like 2.50.

no at least you would be stealing, its private property, and i don't see any mexican's cleaning up houses in my town sorry. Scrape metal is part of the profit for most construction companys.

I work on contruction sites every fucking day and all the scraps would otherwise get thrown away if I didn't take the time to pick them up. Are you constantly monitoring construction sites to see if any mexicans are in them? I doubt it so how the fuck do you know if they clean up contruction sites or not?

well maybe you just work for idiots then, or maybe theirs just not enough scrape for them to justify having someone look/gather it. Most of the small timers however do.
