What are some good free hobbies?

I work a lot less than I used to and find myself spending way too much time watching the Simpsons/lurking the Shroomery.


I need a/some hobbies but I'm broke as hell right now...any ideas?

From what I understand Mushroom hunting in AZ isn't something that can be done year round though...'specially in Phoenix. :frown:

go out in public and get petitions signed. even better than that is find a place that pays to have petitions signed. I used to get 2-4 petitions and get signatures on em ranging from 50c to 2.00 a signature. well I guess that more of a part time job. but it will help with the
"broke as hell" part too.

grab your/borrow a friends digital camera and sneak into places you shouldn't be, all while taking pictures and trying to discover as much as you can.. abandoned buildings in large cities are a good place to start. underneath freeway overpasses and bridges are another excellent source of discovery. usually in a well populated area along the train tracks you will find many a golden gems..

just get out there and walk with a purpose! slap stickers or promote yourself through posters.. there is all kinds of fun to be had with any environment!

word word.. i've been collecting all my (beer)bottle caps over the past couple of years.. it's amazing how quick they all add up! shit seems kind of pointless though because i have no idea what i would like to do with them..

if you already have some frisbees ..go play some disc golf

OR if you have like.. 10 bucks ..go buy an actual disc golf disc and then go play..

its totally free to play at 90% of any disc golf course

Awe man, JonTable beat me to it. Definately get some disc golf discs if you like to throw discs. Every course I have ever been to have been free. It is also great to toke before playing. The nature is usually awesome. Good exercise to.
