Although not bad, Alexia can be misleading as many people identify it as spyware and remove it from their system. The average shroomery user (and I assume mycotopia user) are a bit smarter/paranoid (when it comes to privacy) than your average internet user, thus it is likely that Alexia stats for both sites are somewhat skewed.

I have found MUCH usefull information there moreso related to other botanicals than mushrooms, for instance if I had a question about a mimosa or cactus extraction I would ask there, whereas if it was about shrooms I would definatley ask here....

but if someone posts and asks "where can I find product x" and I reply, "this place has product x cheaper" the owner of the freaking board should maybe consider lowering prices to be competitive not ban people from saying, "hey the guys down the street really are cheaper!"

i never really knew there was any 'beef' between us and them before...... ive been around here for prolly 3-4 times longer than there, but either place never showed any resentment toward the other in my eyes...

and road, only reason I moved it here is cuz you closed it, for being off topic, and this is a 'any topic' room... please dont ban me :........(

I'd have to say that would be one of the more dumb comments I've read. There's a lot of shit talking done there about the shroomery by people who've never posted or registered to these forums. In fact most of the people there who talk shit have the added "I've never posted there" comment in their posts. Which makes you wonder if any of their opinions about shroomery are even viable or if they're all just hate-fueled from a community run by a man with a grudge.

I'm too lazy to try to fix your sentences and make them normal structure, but here's the response to that: We don't ban the noobs, we just give them a hard time, get them to realize there's a search feature.

Though how do you explain being pointlessly banned over something as controversial as proving you wrong something while on the Myco boards? I frequent both sites.

im a half decent guy and i hang there. im no tye dye wearing hippy either. i prefer death metal to all that mellow stuff lol..i don't feel censorship. i speak my mind. no one has banned me nor deleted any of my threads. people must be acting like a fool to get banned is all i got to say..

generally you don't get banned unless your rude to other members, or you solicit illegal drugs. so it must be one of the two. change your attitude, your actions towards others, and then, you will have no problems..


i mean i don't see any threads there criticizing this place. but then again. whats the point. no ones listening..this is the internet..

i been hanging here for years as well so don't act like im this guy coming to defend anything. i think these kind of threads are funny and pointless...and for it to be this long, wow!...............utter boredom.

let me share my experiences here for one


ive sent numerous people free prints and the likes without asking for anything in return on trades. ive been criticized, yelled at, been called a liar and among other things been completely insulted by members here. when i went out of my way to send them things they asked for.

in retrospect a few of those free give outs i had a guy telling me i sent him contaminated spore prints of pan tropicalis. he chewed me a new hole. i explained that these things happen and that i would gladly send him more prints to replace them. i told him i would never intentionally send something contaminated(wtf)

hind sight.... a month or two later i get this pm telling me thanks these were the best he tried and he was so grateful that i hooked up. he also explained that the contamination was his fault. he then proceeded to tell me that i was welcome anytime to go stay with him and all this nonsense. i sent that crap out of the kindness of my heart. and i get treated this way. and this is not the first time this has happened.

i didn't even respond to that pm. it is the ONE REASON i don't trade here anymore. because, every time i sent free shit, someone was cursing me...lol whats the damn point?

and when i post a thread. i get these comments demanding spore prints and such. hell man, all you have to do is pm me and ill send you some jesus! be kind not rude, don't expect everything and have some courtesy.
