i agree. site layout is crap. and he talks about the way newbs are treated here, well thats because our mods got tired of answering the same stupid questions when there are plenty of FAQ's and tek information available to answer those questions.

if hippie3 and the other mods dont mind answering the same drivel everyday then good for them.

absolutely, there have been 40 something posts JUST in this one thread in the last hour or two. i think the pub has already passed the 500 mark for today, and its not even 2 yet.

550 threads sounds more like it.

Yeah, exactly. On a Monday, the Pub alone has already surpassed 500. So you're telling me every other forum up until now hasn't put us over the 550 mark, let alone the fact that there are still 10 more hours left in the day?

If you go to the Forum Index and at the bottom click the "Past 24 hours" under the "View Recent Messages" it tells ya. Right now we're at 519, so I guess those numbers are right?
Although I don't see any AG posts in there, and I know there are other hidden forums, so those stats aren't completely accurate I'm guessing.

I got banned for saying I was from the shroomery.. apparently I insulted one of their members in their chat thing or something.

Fuck that site, its ugly as fuck, people aren't allowed to talk (they're forced into hippie3's bubble) and its full of pretentious hippies..

Besides, Most of those supposed '373 posts' on mycotopia were probably made by hippie3 himself.

I'm glad we have a form of democracy here.. everyone is allowed to say what they feel (and if they're stupid as fuck they get flamed off the site as opposed to banned).

I'm not a fan of the place, but it has nothing to do with the fact that I'm a Shroomery member.
However, I don't see why everyone trashes on it. Just in my relatively short time here I can recall one or two times when the Shroomery was down for a pretty decent amount of time and Mycotopia was really good about absorbing the users that wanted to post but couldn't do so here. If you don't like the vibe there, then whatever just fucking post here. Same goes for them, seems a lot of the people go there because they really don't like the atmosphere here, that's fucking fine, no need to trash on us for it.
