cannabis doesn't need too much root space apparently, right?
In most cases if you can get the water and the food needed you can pull off a small root system but there is only so much plant material a certain size root system can handle
Now these are more indica

and these have a little more sativa in them.

THC is not water soluable so the only effect you would get from snorting keif is if it traveled down to your stomach and got digested.

prehaps things other than THC would get you a bit high? and there would be some sort of activity as your body has fat cells all over it and THC is fat soluble. I'm assuming this is why swallowing weed/hash gets you a body high.

To answer the original question:

5" pot- flower at 6"

6" pot- flower at 8"

8" pot- flower at 10 to 12"

10" pot- flower at 15"

This comes from Closet Cultivator by Ed Rosenthal. BTW that book is not the best one, but this is correct info.

I have a closet set-up. I use 5.5 inch square tag nursery pots. They are square which means I save some room. I flower at 8" inches and at harvest the plants stand about 2 ft.

Container size does matter. Plants can become root bound. You can prune roots several different ways, but I don't bother with it. If you are going to grow outdoors. I would suggest 3-5 gallon pots. A five gallon pickle bucket is great to use, and you can probably get some for free at fast food places. Another great option are grow bags.

wet leaf and stem is rare, specially in amounts exceeding an ounce!

you may get an ounce of soil from a dixiecup depending on how much you put in it :o
