Lets say that maybe if someone wanted to grow some herb he or she wanted to know the best way to make it potent. How would He/She do it?

The best way to get potent bud is to take great care of your plants. light, water, temp, soil or hydro all effect the wacky herb. treat it like your child than when it's time to harrvest cut it up and hang it up to dry. well maybe not exactly like your child buit you know what I mean.

dry it in an uninsulated room so the temp goes up and down it doesnt make it any more potent but it will make the smoke less harsh

well right now a foaf is growing some BC big budxunknown a friend just breeded some BC big bud with some plant that he got from the seeds in a bag he got. So he gave my Foaf some seeds and there doing real good!

FOAF is under the impression that these 'smart soils' will work wonders w/ mj. You know, the potting mixes w/ the time-release ferts. Anyone know if that's a good/bad way to go?

I don't see why it wouldn't work. a foaf uses time release ferts for his outdoor crop because he cant get out there everyday. But he says you should check the ph first and try to keep it around 7.0. but that's just his opinion

cannibis potency is largly influenced by genetics (ie if you have some mexican shwag you cant make it as potent as some nice bc kind) but you can increase it a little bit by caring for it nicly and giving it some nice nutrients and plenty of sunlight

If you want it more potent you will wanna harvest it later. Let the buds get all swolen and stuff and then cut them down and hang them upside-down in a garadge. You will probably want to get all the nasty males out of your crop for a better product. It is all in the harvesting. Try harvesting at different weeks at harvest time to see what you like best cause it dramaticly changes the effects if it sits longer. (with my experince) later man and good luck
