I was thinking a lot about this and in a way its made me regret it, but then again...

It mostly only happens when im by muself but sometimes i'll just be doing something and then I'll suddenly out of nowhere just become completely aware of what im thinking and what im doing, if you don't experience this then i guess you wnt reeli know wot im talking about. Sometimes it can be kinda weird but im sure I;ll find a way of using it to better my life.. either that or I'll just get used to it..

Yeah you just have to practice ruthless self analysis. It can suck at first but once you know exactly who you are it's not that hard to become the person you want to be.

i feel like i understand how life works for the mos t part. My life does blow currently. I loathe my job, douglasville is the root of all evil, and im struggling with understand how self destructive people live so peacefully. But i understand that those are not important, and that being able to just be is what's best, but i just cant come to terms with the fragility of the human being. My life could end tomorrow and this was it, that's all? That would suck ass in my opinion, i havent traveled to anywhere important or achieved any of my goals. That thought triggers fear in me.

Well something I've realized is that life is sort of tragic. We all die, and I'm not sure I'll ever be ready for that. But I do know that I have to ability, if I can muster up the balls to do it, to make my life great. And to me that's a comforting thought, even if at this very moment my life isn't all i know it could be.

im totally who i am , and know who i am as a person. I've already gone through the process of self analyzing. All i do is analyze others now, trying to understand they seem to be content and be completely unaware of the cycles they go through, and unaware of others feelings. It's crazy to me that my life is what it is b/c of my location. Psychedelics made me aware of the world outside of the one i was used to, the real world so to speak. So that's an advantage for me, you would think. Unfortunately it hasnt helped my situation, if anything it's just made me more aware of how sucky the world is and how terrible be are to one another. Im just saying, it would be better if i were less aware. but now that ive done it, i have to keep pushing it for some reason.

Yeah once you're aware all you can do is keep pushing that awareness as far as it will go.

It's almost impossible for me to imagine what my life would be like if I hadn't been "turned on" to use hippy lingo, so I don't even think about it really.

ts727 described it perfectly. I've been having trouble deciding if I should trip anymore. Sometimes I love the insight tripping has given me, but other times I totally despise it. I really don't know if I'll trip again.

i always say i wont again and then i do. It takes me like a week of preparation to trip. Ive low dosed the last few times and i think im on to something.

Low doses are good, but every once in a while the boat needs to be pushed out all the way with a heroic dose! :mushroom2:

yup.

I stick mainly too low doses for enlightenment about my own life and stuff like that. It's a fun and sometimes powerful experience.

Once I go over 4 grams though, or more than a few hits of good acid...shit gets cosmic.

Yea, I think I'm going to give solo tripping a try next time...maybe that will be a good push in the right direction.

That's what I thought...5 grams, 2 weeks of questioning my sanity, and 6 months of abstaining from tripping later, yeah it definitely made me a better person

I know exactly what your saying. I feel that everyone who hasnt had a real psychedelic experience is like "ignorant " to the real truth, the real way and meanings of life. When i say ignorant i dont mean it in the insultin way that it is most commonly connected with, but rather just to mean they dont know any better. I see society as almost robots going along with their day to day activities never questioning anything, and never having had a taste of this altered view that all of us that have "seen the light" have.

Ignorance it bliss, it really is. I sometimes wish i could be how i was before my experiences. That feeling always fades, but i do sometimes feel like it would be better to be this "ignorant robot" and just live a normal life, something i will never be able to do now. However, with 2 years since my first experience coming up, i would NEVER EVER EVER change the decisions ive made. I am a completely difference person then i was before. I am so much more in touch with my true self, and love that. I know myself more then i ever have before, and i love the way i understand life now.

While i enjoy the changes for the most part, i cannot help times at night sitting in bed when i feel like i am losing is, and my grip on reality is getting looser. I also cannot help to think of what my life would be like had i never "seen the light", and i dont think that wonder will go away until the day i die.

To put it in hippie terms i have definitely turned on, am still tuning in, and morally, mentally, and physically on the path to dropping out. But i still question whether or not i should have ever turned on

Yeah my first acid trip was with 1 person who, on the come up when i tried talking to him told me "dude, this isnt a talking drug". I was basically on my own. It took me over a year to really get over that trip. However on my last trip with mushrooms i went into a dark room by myself in total silence for about 45 mins and it was the most amazing time i have ever had tripping so idk. I plan to trip completely on my own in about 2 months when i can

Re: thought process change from psychadelics? [Re: PreparationH]

Thanks for posting. This topic is constantly on my mind of late. I've lost track of how many times I've taken LSD but I know that if I added up my psilocybin, LSD and DMT experiences all together it would be well over 100. And now, life is incredibly overwhelming and intense all of the time. Would I trade that in for anything? Nah...

All this usage has certainly changed the way that I think. That's why I liked it the first time and that is why I continue to like it. It is the opening up of new perspectives that makes the psychedelic experience as valuable to me as it is...sure, I over-analyze in my daily life. But who's to say I wouldn't have gotten this way without LSD? I mean, it's sort of a moot point, you know?

To some my friends and loved ones that don't trip as often as I do or don't trip at all, it seems that I've already done too much and that I do it too often. The thing is, I just have faith in my mental capacities and my psychological makeup to keep doing psychedelics. I truly feel that psychedelics, unlike other drugs, it quite clear to the user when they shouldn't be done anymore. I find that in times when I abuse them, the experiences reflect that.

Psychedelic drugs can do a lot for you, but to continue doing them frequently in a healthy manner I think a person really needs to learn how to integrate what they learn from their experiences into their everyday sober lives...otherwise, you could be doing yourself a lot of damage.

--------------------
Acid doesn't give you truths; it builds machines that push the envelope of perception. Whatever revelations came to me then have dissolved like skywriting. All I really know is that those few years saddled me with a faith in the redemptive potential of the imagination which, however flat, stale and unprofitable the world seems to me now, I cannot for the life of me shake.
