VOTING THREAD COMING SOON

Hello and welcome to the 1st official writing contest.  This idea has come from my composition contests, which people seemed to enjoy very much.  My goal for this contest is to create an environment where people get a chance to write for an audience, practice and improve their own skills, and above all else, have fun. 

Like the composition contests, the writing contest is going to take a couple rounds before the rules and guidelines smooth out and refine themselves. Nothings in stone, rules can be changed when they don't work.  :smile:  As always, please feel free to post your own ideas.

RULES:

*Contestants will be given new guidelines and themes each round (This also includes time given to complete your work.)  Please follow these guidelines closely.  Breaking them could exclude you from the voting thread. 

*Submit your files to xxxx Please include your username and title of your work.

*At the end of the contest, all works will be posted in a voting thread.  They will be posted in the order they are received (that means submit your work asap.)  User names will not be posted until after the voting has ended.

*The winner will get to set all guidelines/themes/style for the next round.  You may get as detailed as you like with the rules, or leave it completely open.  Get creative with the rules! (you can also send content for me to post along with your guidelines:  Music, photos and sound clips.)

1st Official Writing Contest Guidelines  By Toddo

Write a short story no more than 500words that takes place at the end of the world.  Open to creativity with style, but must be in a short story format.

Ah, just got back from vacation.  Good to see I got a few entries.  I'm really jumping on and off right now, got family over...so I'll be posting the voting thread tomorrow.
