So i might have Herpes......

So my Girlfriend just moved out of her old apartment with all her other roomates. She's back home now to get her GED and hopefully gain some control.

When our friends were cleaning her stuff out they found something pretty shocking. When i came over one day because i was stressed out and wanted to talk they asked if the REAL problem i was having was Herpes! I didnt know what they were talking about and they told me when cleaning her shit out they found a old perscription for medication on dealing with Herpes.

Ive seen bumps down there, sometimes kinda bad. However she told me it was ingrown hairs which i got sometimes before i slept with her so i didnt trip.

Now it turns out I might have herpes! FUCKING SUCKS! Im not tripping but needless to say this shit needs to get brought up to her face.

How should i go about bringing it up and asking her without getting a shitload of denial?

Are you positive it's for herpes and not shingles? The same medication is used for both.

Yea man, for real. Your friends are probably morons (friends usually are). I question there ability to make a sound diagnosis based on an old bottle of (probably generic) medication.

Ingrown hairs are common, especially if you shave down there. Herpes outbreaks are different than bumps. They turn into open sores.
