Bullshit tickets you shouldn't have gotten

So, I'm pretty bored at the moment and need to vent a bit. This thread is pretty much for people who want to share any experiences with getting unnecessary tickets. I thought I'd start such a thread, since I got one such ticket last night, and I'd like to hear some of you other peoples' stories as well.
So, my story.
I went to a show last night here in Michigan, and during this show we had some heavy snowfall. When the show ended, it was still snowing heavily and the roads were insanely slick. I was driving behind some girl for a bit, and we (Friend and I) were pulling up to this light, which was green. It turned yellow when we were about 100 feet from it. Now, mind you, we were going about 45 mph at this time. She didn't seem to have any inclination at all to stop at this light, until we were about 50 feet from it, so I was under the impression that she was going to go through it up until she started to brake. She was in a newer car, so she was actually able to stop, having ABS and all. I was driving a mid 80s Grand Marquis (That's how I roll), which is a considerably heavy car. I slammed the brakes and we were just sliding towards her, since the roads were slick. It was either me hitting her from behind, or me swerving into the right lane to avoid an accident.
I swerved!
I recall glancing over and seeing that lady picking up her phone just after this, and no less than 60 seconds later, I was pulled over. I'm almost certain she was calling the cops on me.
But yes, apparently avoiding accidents here in Michigan is considered "careless driving". The cop thought I was drunk and was being quite an asshole for the first few bits of this little incident.
"Have a couple drinks tonight there, fellas?"
Me: "Absolutely not. We just came from a show."
"Don't bullshit me, buddy."
"What do you have there in that tea jug?"
Me: "uhhh, tea? Would you like to smell it?"
He kind of lightened up after I got out and blew a 0.00 into his handy little breathalyzer (I never drink; not my thing), among passing all of the other standard tests they give to potential drunks, but still ended up giving me a ticket anyway.
Now, I'm not really sure if this ticket is actually.. y'know, grounds for a ticket, or if I'm just over-thinking it and actually deserve it. But in either case, the show was entirely worth it.
Anyone have any idea how much such a ticket might be? This is my first offense.
If anyone else has any stories that they'd like to share, please do!

fight it, what you did was in the interest of public safety, the cop didnt witness the event so his testimony will be inadmissible, his first assumption was that you were drinking because of erroneous information given to him the woman that made the call would have to be the states witness and if she fails to appear, state loses, if her testimony is shot down, state loses
witness questions are simple, ask what she observed, whom was driving the vehicle, what color was the car, did the driver appear to be intoxicated, etc...

The ones I got to a Dream Theater concert once...yeah...that was some sad, sorry display of bullshit.

I went to jail for 6mph over the speed limit, 4 tickets from that cop in 2 weeks, the judge called it harassment and dismissed all 4 tickets

Four tickets in two weeks? I wonder how many other people that has cited in that time.

Ahhh, Dream Theater. I'd kill to go to one of their shows. Dax Riggs was at the one I went to last night. Good stuff, there.
But yeah, if I end up getting a point on my record for this, I'll fight it.
And as for that girl.. she would have been cute if she wasn't a bitch. hah. I saw 2 more cops on the way home as well. I deliberately took the BACK way to avoid any more cops, but they were really enjoying those dirt roads last night for some reason. Retarded.

I dont know, I had a couple strippers living with me at the tme, he had the hots for one and wouldnt take no for an answer, he showed up at my house (out of his jurisdiction) and started some shit so I showed him who was the boss
county police sided with me in that he was tresspassing and I was within my rights to draw a gun and hold him until they arrived... that's what set him off, he lost his job a few months later after he shot a black kid with a chainsaw that was doing some work for his grandmother, he wasnt charged though

Those are exactly the kind of people who should never wear a cop uniform. I bet he'd be taser-happy too, given a chance.

the whole department would have been, when I was 14 a friend and I were stopped for car theft, we were walking and the car was found that day more than 200 miles from our location
one of the other officers was brutal with a stick or flashlight, no one under 20 escaped his temper.

Hopefully, his ass was fired too? I notice that whenever a cop does something wrong, they never get punished. They only get suspended or something. What's up with that?

Michigan cops are bitches and are way too absorbed in getting money rather than upholding the law. My story-
-License, reg. and proof of insurance please
yes sir (as i hand him them)
-(cop comes back)this insurance is for a different car
oh sorry here is the one for this car
-no, your insurance is not valid, please wait here
Dude gives me a fucking bogus ticket which i take to court, it gets thrown out. I call the treasury department to take my 'driver responsibility fee' away since i didn't actually do anything, and they tell me they don't care and i still have to pay it........
So i had to pay the state $200 two years in a fucking row for some shit i didn't do.

That is the stupidest shit I've ever heard. What is the ticket for? It doesn't say on the ticket?
