150 Watt HPS For Marijuana

would a 150 watt HPS grow 4 marijuana plants very well? what kind of yield would someone be looking at and how would it compare to a 400 watt HPS?

I'd say per plant if you did four you would be lucky to get an ounce per plant with only a 150. If I were you I would grow 1 big plant and you'd likely get the same yield as if you were to do four. Also if you were to grow just 1 big plant your weed would likely be a lot better because all the light was being used up just by that plant and not being absorbed by others around it so you'd get nice dense buds instead of stringy gross popcorn buds.

would it be worthwhile to use a 150 watt HPS and a 150 watt metal halide, or would a person be better to just use a 400 watt HPS? what if someone had a 150 watt HPS that already had a remote ballast?
