First BULK w/ SCOTTS 3n1 and Horse Dung and Wheat

I've got two 1/2 pt. jars left and over the past few days, have bought the materials I've been wanting to use for my first bulk test:
-Scotts 3-n-1 Org. Mix (happy day! my local Lowes has it!)
-Some free wheat straw (froma landscaping place off the-side-of-tha-ride)
-and some Horse Stable waste
My question goes about the stable waste- The stable across the street dumps their waste in a pile out back along with some hay/straw but I think mixed in this is the horse's bedding too, I havnt exactly picked through my bag of horse shit or anything but will it be ok to spawn once it's been pasturized even with bedding and excess stable waste?
I plan on spawning a mix of Scott's 3-n-1 along with a dash of straw and horse dung with 1 pint of colonized brf/verm mix

If the dung/bedding isn't wet and full of urine, you should be OK.

what if it is!@ i mean it is STABLE WASTE, i dunno, maybe I shouldnt put in in my mix, I mean im sure the Scotts and wheat will be fine
If I pasturize, would piss and whatever else might be in it still be a problem
Ill check my shit out (haha that was funny) and try to figure out what all is in it

If it's wet and you're worried piss will be a problem, why don't you just dry it first?

you really dont need to add anything to the scotts 3 in 1......i added straw to 1 bag of mine and left the other one just compost. the one with the straw contaminated after the 3rd flush...the plain old scotts 3 in 1 went threw 5 flushes and actually produced more then the other...but if it wouldnt have contaminated they prolly would have been about the same...
maybe its just me ... but i cant tell a diff.

ALF ( A Looney Friend) is trying the 3-1 compost mix with some straw ( i'll say 75/25 compost heavy )
spawn with two gt brf cakes .. they have been in the incubator for five days now and showing great progess
i plain on using coco coir as a top layer ... why use verm???

That's good to know, I just bought 6 bags of 3n1, and that would have taken alot of verm.

You should post a thorough grow log of that so everybody will know.

I think a grow log will be nice, I just layed out my horse stable waste shit and it looks pretty ok, I'll post a pic in a sec, looks like a lot of shit, some hay/straw and some hal-way digested grain feed--me and a friend went and filled a miracle grow soil bag with it (cause it had a zipper close thing, that ended up breaking) and I want to add it to the Scotts (just so I didnt go and waste all that time and sweat) but I'll add it to this soon to be patch that was the previous owners raised up vegie garden
I plan on pulling up all the vegies and airing the soil then adding some horse shit and wheat straw-then I'll dump spent casings out there

i thought id let you guys know that i used scotts straight out the bag, its pinning and no sign of any contams. i read somewhere good compost does not need to pasturized, so i figured fuck it, scotts is prolly good
well see what happens...

I dont want to push my luck with these last two jars and end up contaminating the whole casing so i think I'm going to soak it and put it in the oven at 160 for about an hour to try and kill off any bad guys
My horse shit is almost dry- Im going to scoop it into a pillow case, put in pot on stove with water at say 160 let sit for an hour and then drain and spawn
Then I'm going to cut the Scotts with some verm and add in some horse shit, hope it isnt too compact or anything and spawn
Does all this sound okay?
