DDR2 Ram

Can I run 2GB of PC2-4200 and 2GB of PC2-5400 DDR2 ram on the same motherboard?

This is the motherboard I have http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00757531&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=3253996&lang=en

Does it matter witch set of ram is in slot 1 or 2?

Should be fine. Keep the ram matched... same sized/speed sticks in the same color connector. Also, you won't see the full 4GB of memory available; probably get around 3.5GB. This is a limitation of the logic board and has nothing to do with the type of memory you are using.
