Doesn't look like a contam, but it's growing abnormally (pics)

I mean this looks like mycelium, but it is growing on the dry vermiculite layer and the jar, and it just looks weird. This is my first grow so I really wanted to check with others.
There are two jars:
The first jar, which is easier to see
The other one
Thanks guys!

alright so its no big deal, awesome. I just hadn't seen dry mycelium i guess, and it looked funny. They haven't finished on the sides and bottom yet, but should soon. Thanks!

Yeah, well don't do it again!!!
They are very prone to contamination before they fully colonize! Only open the jars when you are ready to spawn or fruit them.
The look healthy in the photos, but don't be surprised if they contaminate before they finish colonizing, since you opened them.

Put yourself in a new growers shoes. I don't want to leave it in the incubator with the others, but I can't decide if things look like they are on the level. I can't get a picture of it without opening the jar. I'm pretty much resigned to throwing them out anyway, but I want to check first. So I take the risk, I've got other jars. It was really the only choice.
Of course the logic is all confounded, because if I was at all confident it was a contaminant, I wouldn't have opened the jars anyway, I would have just thrown them out...
I appreciate the help, but if that was a risk I was willing to take... Well, they are my jars, after all, you know? I mean, in retrospect, now that I know that was just mycelium growing on a dry layer, of course it was a stupid decision. But when I did it, I had never seen the myc's do that before. I figured even if I lost the jars, at least I could learn from the loss if I was able to take a picture. Now I am equipped to make the right decision next time without taking any risks at all. It worked out pretty well. Besides, the undeveloped areas are at the bottom of the jars, so the risk was minimized somewhat.

Okay. So then you knew the risk. I was under the impression that you did not, so my post to warn you.
Well good luck.
