just early pins or contam? (sorry-no pic)

I know there's not a picture, but just imagine from your experience. I'm colonizing 1 pint jars, and am 95% done colonizing them. I've been growing following the Hippie-Tek (in light the entire time). I put about 1/4th cup vermiculite at the bottom of the jars to hold any water drop off and so co2 build up wouldn't bother the bottom part colonizing. my questions arises as one jar(out of 6) start growing pins along the very bottom row of the substrate next to the verm, partially in the verm too. it's odd because the one jar just finished covering the last bit of substrate with myc this morning, and the 'pin' looking thing popped up FROM the myc within' 6 hours. I'm worried because I read that it would take at least another week for the cake to eat the nutrients and prepare to fruit, but something's popping up immediately. they're tiny little brownish dots, and 2 of them look oblong and have little darker brown 'head's, somewhat representing little mushies. I'd be delighted if they were the first lil' ones, but I'm sad because they're going to have to grow really congested for a while, while the rest of the cake becomes solid enough to take out. I guess I'm just wondering if this immediate growth is normal, of if there's a chance it's contaminated. sorry again for no pics...thanks..

Yeah lil brown heads sure sounds like a baby fungal friend.
