stupid gmail problems

my gmail account won't let me log in. i have the correct password and so on but every time after trying to log on it forwards me to the registration page. i don't know why. i used a spysweeper program last week and it took out some cookies, can this be it?

and if so what should i do in order to access my account?

download thunderbird. It's already got as an option gmail accounts, so all one needs to do is put their email and password in.

Helps if you set it to enable pop3 emailing, otherwise thunderbird can't download your emails.

maybe it blocked cookies, that's why it's not letting you log in.

add gmail to your list of unblocked/allowed sites.

I've had two people this week who said some emails from their google box got deleted...

One of them I know is telling the truth and didn't just LOOSE them in a sea of emails because she only had like 6 emails in her Inbox. She logged in yesterday and only had 1.
