An amusing conversation

I have a friend that wants to trip with me on those magical, magical mushrooms we hold so dearly to our hearts. I've never tripped with him and he claims he has tripped four or five times prior to meeting me. I'm thinking, "Ok, cool, a new trip buddy - someone that enjoys shrooms too." As we progress further and further into the conversation, he pipes up with, "You know, you don't really need the mushrooms to trip; they're just for the taste. You only need the spores."

...

So when I trip with him, I have half the mind to let him eat all the spores (if he can get any out of the mushrooms) and take his dose of the only-for-the-taste fruit.

There's really no significance to me posting this, other than I was amused that he was so serious about his statement, and I figured someone at the Shroomery would be amused too. :smirk:

...From information I've read regarding spores, it's not true. That's the only reason all but three states allow cube spores to be shipped to them. The spores don't actually contain psilocybin, the psychoactive ingredient in psilocybe mushrooms, therefore, distribution of spores is legal, except in Georgia, Idaho, and California (oddly).

Unless I was misinformed, you missed the entire point of my post. Otherwise, the joke's on me.
