Cubes vs. Copes

For those of you experienced with both Cubensis and Cope Cyans, do you notice the two offering very very differing trips? Or is this just me?
I think the Cubes are more mental, but definitely much easier to handle and more social, even at higher doses. The Cyans tend you grab me by the throat for a few hours and confuse and disorient, making it a very difficult and agressive first part of the trip, then they let me go and I seem to float into a blissfull state for another 4-5 hrs. It's almost like the cyans are testing me, making sure I'm worthy of their profound gift, it happens like that nearly every time. Anyone else notice this?

Sadly, I've only eaten Florida mushrooms so I only know what Cubes feel like.

I've never for the live of me been able to find Cubes growing wild in FLORIDA, just bought from my local mycological enthusiast. I've found plenty of field Copes here though, and they're crazy, intense, but once you get passed that confusing hump, amazing.

Yessum, correct sir. Now, that being said, I would LOVE to see how Copes and Cubes differ from and stand up to stuff like Liberty Caps, Auzurescens, or Hawaiian or Mexican strains.
I'm mostly interested in the differing aspects of the trip (i.e. mental or visual, happy or analytical, body high or not, etc.), not the potency.

I agree, it does depend on the individual, but it also most certainly does also depend on the mushroom. I know from personal experience that the copes and the cubes produce different trips, and this may have something to do with the ratio of the different alkaloids (more baeostycin in Cubes, more psilocin in Copes, etc.) in proportion to one another, am I right? At least this is what I've always read.
Maybe I'm more sensitive to the differences and others don't notice it, or maybe there is some psychological reason as to why I percieve the trips to be so different. I'm just being inquisitive, never hurts to do some research on the side.

it does have to do with the different ratios of active chemicals in the mushroom, but it has just as much to do with your personal body chemistry. its not totally black and white.

Cubes are great............until you've had pan cyans. (or copes....same difference)
Copes are just smoother and MUCH more potent. I feel like they give you much more clarity all the way through the trip. Pure bliss!!! I feel like cubes can be more of a "bumpy" ride.
All in All, If everyone in the world who uses mushrooms could always obtain Copes......the world would never use cubes again IMHO.
Peace out.

I've never been passed a level 2 on cubes, and to at least level 4, maybe 5 on copes, but it seems to me that copes can be "bumpy" and a little rough at the onset, but tend to smooth out and become magical for much much longer. If I ever get to have a high dose experience with cubes, then maybe I'll be a better judge.
