Want to hear some Shpongle...

I've heard a lot about them, and I'd like to hear some of their stuff. If any of you guys have any, just upload it in in this thread... I'm hoping to be able to create a sort of sampler to get to see what they sound like... thanks!

Well, the Crstal Skulls song on the remix album is not by Shpongle, it's remixed by the act Western Rebel Alliance.  :smile:

There is no excuse to just hearing one or two songs on here. Download their discography at once. Or buy it - wont be disappointed.

A sampler, eh...
Do yourself a favor and acquire a whole album. Preferably either buy it, or get a lossless torrent.
The thing about Shpongle is, their albums are designed to be listened to from beginning to finish. The songs flow seamlessly together, so that the album (especially "Nothing Lasts... But Nothing Is Lost") is basically one big song. If you download 20 random songs and put them together in a random order, it isn't going to give you the right effect.

Trust me, acquire an entire album, and WAIT until you're tripping to listen to it. You will not regret it. Any album will do. I personally enjoy Nothing Lasts more than the others, but most people prefer their earlier albums.

I'm one of em. Are You Shpongled is the penultimate trip album in my opinion.

Yes, for my first-ever mushroom trip (or any trip for that matter), I had a lossless "Nothing Lasts... But Nothing Is Lost" MP3 that I listened to once I was sure that the effects were under way. I had never heard any piece of the album before, and I'm so glad that I hadn't.

I kind of dozed off waiting for the onset, and I awoke abruptly to find my living room warping around. I stood up and stumbled around a little before returning to the couch to take a lungful of N2O and press 'play' on my MP3 player. Thus began the night that changed my life.
