Downloaded Supreme Commander....but...

I unzipped the files that I downloaded so I am now left with a single *.iso file. now, using PowerIso, i would assume I would just mount the image and then install from there, but it's telling me that the file is unrecognizable.

any thoughts? is there a better program out there now for this sort of thing?

Just burn the .ISO to a DVD, then install from the DVD.

which one did you get? the original or the exspansion? i have the original if you want to play some time. it's been a couple months since i played, but i'd be up for playing a fellow shroomerite. whenever you figure out how to install it that is. it's a really fun game!

'unrecognizable' .iso?

i haven't used power iso in a long time..

i'd suggest daemon tools make sure you have safedisc securom all that checked and try to mount it..

if it doesn't work, then your .iso file is corrupt.

check the file size on it.. if you got a prog to check the md5 check that out too.

hm, that's a good idea. the file is 6.04 gigs, will that work?

You need a double-layer DVD (8.5 gigs).

thanks for the link drkrobotnik, but that 2nd one down in that list is the one i downloaded, and it's not working...hmmm, i think i'll just play COD4 until Spore comes out.

hatred usually has good releases.. wtf

maybe it didn't finish or got corrupted..

i'm a console gamer now but i used to be way big into pc..

i dont have time to play anymore if i wanted to.. damn im so busy lately.
