 Gamers...Can u help me figure how to run/install a game

im new to alot of stuff....ive been on the net and around computers for a long time but i dont know much at all. i just download leisure suit larry and it came with 4 folders named CD1 THROUGH 4 AND 2 MSINFO DOCUMENTS.....inside most of the folders are just bin and cue files but in cd3 folder there are a bunch of files i dont know what they are......bottom line is im wondering how i install and/or play this game? can anyone help me out!? do i have to burn it?? im used to downloading something with a simple old setup file

the bin and cue files have to be burned onto a cd, as far as i know.
what type of files are on the 3rd cd?

when i check properties it says unknownapplication

thats an ACE archive. look for a file with the extention ACE and open it.

You don't have to burn .bin files. If you download the program Daemon Tools you can run any bin/iso file as if it were a CD in a drive. That way you don't have to waste blank cd-rs.

id suggest alcohol if you can get it for mounting instead of daemon. With my experience more programs recognize daemon and have security against the game running when daemon is installed on a comp. I assume all the files you see our part of a winrar archive. get an unzippiing program like winrar and click on the first one. Open it up and extract the bin and cue files.
try that out, hope it helps =)

I used to pirate extensively, for about 5 years or so, but stopped a little over a year ago.
What you do is get the program WINRAR, and make sure those unkown files get associated with winrar. Then you make sure the file extensions are shown in the directory. They will probably be something like .001, .002, .003, etc. etc. I'm talking about the non-bin and .cue files.
Next, double click the .rar file. If there isn't one, double click the .001 file. Then unrar it into the same directory and make sure all the other files for that disk are there. You will end up with a .bin and .cue file in all likelihood.
Once you have a .bin and .cue for a disk, take a program such as FIREBURNER (i always liked it best) and associated .cue files with it. Then double click the .cue file for a disk, making usre the .bin is in the same directory, and it will open a dialouge within which you can burn the cd.
You can also use a program like Daemon Tools to mount the .bin file as a virtual drive and just play that way without burning.

yep, they're probably rar files
somewhere in there should be a .rar
