Tech Support - windows vista password reset disk..

Ok. I have windows xp and windows vista on my computer..

The password i was given when i bought my computer (from a friend) does not work for windows vista..

I can only use windows XP - Is there anyway to DL the windows vista password reset using my XP account?

Consider yourself lucky as you now have an excuse for not using the crap.

I'd ask him again, maybe he'll remember the pw if you keep bothering him. I'm looking at how to create a reset disk, and it seems that you'll need to get into Vista to do it.

Safe mode maybe? That could work

Or just reinstall windows...pick vista or XP, no need for both to be sitting there
