It's a good, entertaining movie, but nothing to bust a nut over.
I'd put it above Scanner, but Scanner is :awesome:

I never thought Donnie Darko was a good movie, as it seems to make no sense. Such as why Frank ever came back in time in the first place.

frank didn't come back. frank was dead from the start, like gretchen. timeline isn't linear in there so it can be confusing.
