Just picked up a lions tail
    #7935981 - 01/26/08 04:13 PM (16 years, 6 days ago)

just picked up a 4 ft lions tail plant that is in the late stages of flowering now starting to drop its flowers. it was a steal at 8.99 so i couldn't resist. it seems to be very root bound so my question is will some Texas store bought compost be ok to plant it in? i really don't wanna go back out and get any More soil again as i just spent $30 on soil for my kratom plant transplant.

P.S. this was a new store and I'm in love. they also had kava kava plants very mature, ephedra plants, kilp dagga plants, some gorgeous brugmansia (SP?), and I'm sure some more that i didn't see.

Thanks, Devin

i probably will save them for seed tradeing and such and just keep the main plant alive. it is a very nice bush with many branches. im just going to go ahead and put it in that soil. apperently not erowid or anywhere else says soil really matter as long as its "good" soil.
