Best xbox 360 games?

I just got a 360 with Oblivion.

What other good games should I buy?

I'm thinking Call of Duty 4, Halo 3, Simpsons game and Farcry
thats my list so far!

I haven't had much time playing X-Box 360, but..

Gears of War was pretty awesome.

I don't like racing games all that much but fuck, Burnout Revenge is so fucking good.

I hear from my friend that BioShock and Mass Effect are great.

CoD 4!! that game is amazing. H3 is good for some muliplayer action as well.

I don't own a 360 myself, but I happen to like the graphics for the NHL-2008 video game.
Very 3D looking.

my xbox died last night :frown:
but when she was working, rainbow six vegas (the multiplayer is highly addictive), project gotham racing 4, bioshock.
it is funny how my xbox died the night i started growing for the first time.

make sure your box gets plenty of ventilation..

mine's RRoD'ed twice and im not putting it in my entertainment center anymore.. now it's standing next to it on its own little stand.

i used to have it laying down and now it's standing up.. should be fine.

i lost my receipt, i bought my 360 about a year and a half ago.
i know there is a 3-year extended (free) warranty because of all of the xbox malfunctions, but will they fix it without a receipt? anyone know?

ahh, thank ya thank ya sir.
i'm gonna wait it out a few days and see if she comes back.
i've gotten red rings before, but i shut it off and waited a few minutes, turned it back on and it worked fine.
hopefully it'll work tomorrow.
they send you a box to mail it to them in,
and you keep your hard drive, right?

try to start it with the hard drive off and unplug and re plug everything back in.

is it 3/4 that are lighting up red or all four?

if it's all four it's not a hardware failure and it's probably that your cable came unplugged..

you should call them anyways because soon enough it's going to die for good...

i got three red lights last night, and three a few weeks ago.
i can start to play games, i can get through all of the menus but when the game actually starts the xbox freezes.
it kept doing this last night, but i was able to watch a dvd on it. i'll try unplugging everything/taking out the hard drive.
thanks for the advice.
