i do not believe we have had any reports of shroomery members dieing from eating poisonous mushrooms, yet.

in the mushroom hunting forum there have been a good amount of reported allergic reactions and poisonings, but nothing fatal, yet.

if you did eat a 'death cap' or 'destroying angel', one mushroom might be enough to kill most people. if they do not die from it chances are very high that they would be hooked up to a dialysis machine for the rest of their life.

White cap, somewhat slender.. My biggest concern here would be a Destroying Angel.

If you catch him on the phone ask him if the bottom of the stem was bulbous, as if the stem had grown from a ball.

If so, holy fuck have him call 911.

If not, he still should seek medical advice ASAP. We cannot make a positive identification, nor should we try.

A Destroying Angel however would be a life-threatening emergency
