Suppression
    #7868089 - 01/12/08 03:39 AM (16 years, 20 days ago)

Neither a support ticket, nor a PM, nor a public discussion nor a thread in the Feedback Forum can one get a straight answer to a simple rule violation clarification. I have tried every means avaialable.

Suppression is a tool of:

A. The Devil

B. Petty Dictators

C. The Fearful

D. Control Freaks

E. Fair and Balanced Leadership

F. Other

You may choose more than one.

You just don't like suppression because it puts you down.
But hey mister hypocriticus, you just suppressed all those keys, and lingual structures, you suppressed me by making the post!
I was intrigued and read onward, suppressing my need to fly about my room here squeaking and twisting my body into unusual formations as per the usual M.O.

This all reminds me of a delightful muse concerning Plato and the slimy combobulator.

"To those who can be suppressed, let the thier benefactors gain, so that others may learn to exploit likewise, until all the rhubes are draineth, and let them go down to Emanuel in Palestine and ask his brother for a goat, and if his brother supplements neither goat nor olive oil, let that brother suppress his brother until both brothers gain godliness in thier judgement"
- Obediah 5:5

amen Plato, amen

I feel the most free when all is supressing me.

Liberation by dispersing pressure, into love, and in all directions.

Do you believe there should be no place to discuss grievances on a forum dedicated to entheogenic freedom? Does that not seem counter to its charter?

It seems to me that you're trying to blow some minor infraction out of proportion and complicate the matter in order to further compound upon your argument. That's a trolling sub-species as far as I'm concerned.

I am inclined to agree with you completely... except that OC apparently, tried all the proper avenues first and is still waiting for an answer. The Staff often ignores Support tickets. It can be frustrating.

The Admin uses this tactic to see if a problem will just disappear or to see if the public will turn against the person who filed the complaint.

Then, the person who sent the support ticket often gets SO upset at the lack of response, that they do something unforgivable in the eyes of The Staff... opening the doors for a LARGER ban.

I know the routine.

So, it looks to me like BOTH sides are provoking one another... one side is quasi-shunning... the other is quasi-trolling (or is that hypno-toading?).

$10 says this thread is locked soon... but OC still won't have his answers.

$5 says, if OC gets his answers, he won't like them.

B & D

--------------------
To call humans 'rational beings' does injustice to the term, 'rational.'  Humans are capable of rational thought, but it is not their essence.  Humans are animals, beasts with complex brains.  Humans, more often than not, utilize their cerebrum to rationalize what their primal instincts, their preconceived notions, and their emotional desires have presented as goals - humans are rationalizing beings.

Keeping the rules is called suppression nowadays ?
Cheating is liberation ?

Come on, be a fair player.

*Lack of clarification IS suppression.

OC makes comment on topic and gets banned by MM. Other posters criticize the same subject matter and get no ban.

Same thread, the OP flames OC and gets not even a warning.

MM delightfully derails OC's post in a far worse manner than OC did for his ban BECAUSE HE CAN.

Now 'splain the rules to me in a clear manner and honestly tell me there was no bias.

Yes, this is a small matter, but then why even have rules if they are not to be applied evenly, including and especially mods?

Would I even make any noise if it hadn't happened FIVE time before including a ONE YEAR BAN for listing a book title? This is merely a prelude to another railroading.

This is the last time I will comment on your issues.

You broke the rules twice  in M&P, before someone asked you to "please stop being so useless"
In the Shroomery Moderator handbook it says to focus on the original rule breaker in a flame war.
I had warned you previously and gave you a 3 Day M&P specific forum ban.
I have handled other threads that you were not involved in in the same way.
If I had any bias against you I would have banned you permanently from M&P long ago.

The difference between that and my "Thanks for another gay thread" post in your thread in this forum is that I wasn't breaking the rules with my post.

I didn't call you or your ideas gay, it was a joke pic. I removed it none the less and apologized twice, what else do you want from me?

Please refrain from making any more threads about this issue.
If you have sent a support ticket to Admin and they have not responded it is not this forum's problem.

Thank you for understanding. :kittyeagle:
