Boards of Canada, I love them and have loved them for a long time. Any artists with a similar sound? I like the real ambient chill aspect of them.

I was talking about just Freescha.
The rest, yes, are similar.

Lol I love RJD2 he is from Columbus I saw him last year. Great show with Busdriver. Autechre is great and similar to BoC. Aphex Twin really is nothing like BoC nor is squarepusher.

CBLF are one of my favorite chillout ambient artists.
If you dig them then you might also enjoy Stars of the Lid, as mentioned, Subgardens, Solar Fields, Cell, Asura, Sync24, Perpetual Loop, and Pete Namlook, for that deep late-night ambience.

If you don't know about it already, give Pandora radio a try. You can enter in a song or group that you like, and it will try to play other music with similar attributes for you. You can give a thumbs-up or thumbs-down to each song depending on if you like it or not, and it will try to determine what common attributes you like and play them for you. It's not perfect but it's a pretty cool way to find new music you like.

There's nothing like boards of canada, sorry. But it does get played on www.sleepbot.com
There's some trance I like to, global communication's 76.14 is a really nice album (compared to the rest of their stuff, that's cheesy)
Plone is worth finding out more about, they are also on warp, or I could be mixing warp up with trezor records.

Yea I am downloading CBLF and Stars of the Lid atm. Then I will check out some of these other artists.
And Visionary: I know I have never heard anything as good as BoC unfortunatly that is why I made this thread. Everything similar just is sub par to me. maybe I am biased though.

I'm pretty sure Explosions in the Sky are very similar to Boards of Canada, but I haven't listened to BoC in a long time. I don't remember what they sound like.... Explosions in the Sky is an amazing band.
